I'm feeling lazy today--maybe I should get outdoors and take a walk. These photos were sitting in a folder called "revisit" so I decided to do just that!

I love the egg cartons. It takes on a new meaning to all the thousands of eggs photographed by so many student photographers over the years. That's "thinking out of the box" to an extreme! Excellent work.
ReplyDeleteI also really like the swings. It's all one-toned, yet the swings are beautifully separated from the background and each other. I also like the story it doesn't tell, leaving each viewer to find their own story. For me, it's about days gone by--both for my youth, and for my loneliness. I never knew why I wasn't happy when I was younger. My husband, was a very controlling man, and I never had any friends until much later in life. Meetup has given me that new life.
You always amaze me, telling me things I don't see myself, sort of like that conversation we had at the Marina. I'm pleased when a photo evokes an emotion or begins a story that doesn't yet have an ending. Loyce, you are a wonderful teacher!
