This is the actual color? WOW! It certainly will be noticed, especially with the red door and sidewalk. Oh my goodness, these people must really be into Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like the rain to bring out beautiful, saturated colors. Great decision on your part to choose to make this image in the rain. Excellen work, Margo.
Thank you Loyce. This is the actual color! I had to sharpen a bit because I shot in a hurry from the car. You are so right about what rain does to color--that's what made me grab my camera and hold up traffic--I saw the wet slick sidewalk and glistening plants. I want to return to Georgetown soon--I saw tons of things I want to shoot!
ReplyDeleteWe drove by this when we were in Georgetown and it caught our attention at the exact same moment.
ReplyDeleteMark, next time you visit, let's go to Georgetown together--we'll do lunch and photography!
