California bound

I'm leaving for California tomorrow, my "home place" as they say in West Virginia. I'm going there to meet Lily Chan, the woman my 87 year-old father is about to marry!

I took these shots last year while I was living with Dad and we were taking care of Mom together.

  1. Beautiful photography in all 4 shots, Margo. I absolutely love the top one. I have a very special place in my heart for lighthouses. I love to see them, love to photograph them and love to read about them. I guess I'm a typical New England girl who's always lived on the East Coast.

I've never been to CA, but would love to see it someday. If for nothing else, I'd love to see the West Coast and the Pacific just to photograph it and say I've been there. I went to Mexico on a cruise, but all I saw was the Gulf of Mexico--and plenty of it. That didn't count.

Have a safe, and fun trip, Margo.

  2. Thanks, Loyce. I'm happy to give a New England girl something she can relate to! I love lighthouses too.

You must go to CA one day--it's terribly photogenic, but all of a sudden I'm feeling apprehensive about going home--a big change in the family dynamic or something. Oh well...change is good, right?
