We waited on pins and needles for a call from the White Swan Hotel in China. It finally came, telling us that the adoption was final--Tashi was coming home to WV. That was 12 years ago--isn't she beautiful!

ReplyDeleteLoyce, Tashi is my goddaughter and I took this photo two days ago on her 12th birthday.
ReplyDeleteWhen she arrived in the U.S. her head was completely flat from lying in a bed for a year in an orphanage. It's been a joy to watch her grow--she loves animals, swimming, and learning.
