These kind of shots with the animal looking straight into the camera are pretty difficult to pull off without making the nose distorted. You did a great job with this one. Obviously, you chose the right lens and the right distance to get the job done right.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean--I have messed up plenty of noses! This one was shot with my 300mm lens at 85mm, F4.5, 1/60 sec. Every once in a while you get it right! Thanks for the feedback!
ReplyDeletePS. I read somewhere that telephoto lenses have a unique optical effect to flatten scenes with great depth.
