I always spend the day before I travel taking care of my animals. I groom them, fill water troughs, muck out barns, give treats like apples and carrots, fill feeders, generally lavish everyone with love and affection.

Awwww, you feel the same way about leaving your "babies" as I do. I also love to travel, but hate having to leave my bird at home. I feel so sorry for her because she doesn't understand where "Mommy" is even though she's well-cared for.
